The Venue live sound environment line represents Digidesign’s full range of digital mixing products for the live sound market. Venue was designed to provide an unprecedented level of quality for live sound in a reliable system that live engineers could trust.
Digidesign’s Venue system is used by many prestigious touring artists including U2, Radiohead, Coldplay, Massive Attack, Peter Gabriel, Justin Timberlake, Slipknot , Mary J Blige, Jay Z, Nine Inch Nails, and many more.
Digidesign Training and Education has developed two training programs for the Venue systems, Venue 110 V and Venue 210 V – Live Sound Production.

- Venue 110 V course description
- VENUE 110V: Live Sound Production I focuses on the essential skills required
- to operate a VENUE system in a live sound environment.
- This course covers system operation using both the VENUE D-Show software
- and a VENUE control surface.
 
- Venue 210 V course description
- VENUE 210V: Live Sound Production II focuses on the core skills
- required to operate a VENUE system in a professional live sound environment.
- This course provides comprehensive, hands-on training on a
- VENUE D-Show or Profile control surface and covers system hardware
- and software configuration.
Both Venue 110 and 210 V are intensive, hands-on courses designed for live sound engineers who wish to learn basic and advanced skills required to operate a Venue system in a professional live sound environment.
Upon successful completion of the 110 V and 210 V courses and exams, participants will be eligible to take the Digidesign Venue certification exam. See Digidesign’s certification training paths and course hierarchy.
Since 2009 Radu is officially approved as one of only a few Digidesign Certified Instructors for Venue, and he is currently teaching the 110 V and 210 V courses at Alchemea College in London.
The 110 V and 210 V are specialist courses delivered in a working venue.
